I must admit that I have never read any of the Lord of the Rings books. I tried once and just couldn't finish. However, I know people who love them. That being said, I am thrilled to learn that there is a new movie coming out in December of this year which excites me because I was a huge fan of the previous movies. I always try to read the book before I watch the movie version. I will try to get The Hobbit read before December! Really, I will!
